Lalit Dalmia, along with his father, has founded the International Society for Cow Orientation and Welfare (ISCOW), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting cow welfare and conservation. ISCOW's mission is to provide shelter, care, and medical attention to abandoned and stray cows, highlighting their significance in Indian society.

About ISCOW

Established in March 2018, ISCOW operates an animal hospital in Vrindavan Dham, providing critical care and support to neglected, destitute, and orphan cows.

Lalit Dalmia's Vision

Moved by the plight of helpless cows, Lalit Dalmia recounts, "I felt an inner urge to serve these innocent creatures. Our Gaumata Ambulance Services, launched in May 2018, rescued and treated ailing cows. However, the lack of proper medical facilities in Vrindavan Dham's cow shelters motivated us to build a dedicated hospital for Cow's take care"

Objectives

Our team at ISCOW includes, two experienced doctors, 10 staff members specializing in cow care, two ambulance drivers, and four helpers. We prioritize cleanliness, thereby maintaining a neat and clean area for cow shelter.

Operational for 14 months, our hospital is a non-commercial facility, focusing solely on cow welfare. We provide comprehensive care, including nutritious food such as hara chara, gud, bhusa, and sweet dishes like gobhi, kela, and palak roti. Our medical team delivers expert care during treatment and performs last rites (Antim Sanskar) with dignity.

For emergency cow rescues, Our ambulance services operate 24/7 within a 51km radius of Vrindavan.

After successful treatment, recovered cows are relocated to our partner facility, Mata ji Gau Shala in Barsana, for long-term care and welfare, furthering our joint mission to protect and nurture these majestic animals.

Sadhu Seva: Supporting Spiritual Communities

Lalit Dalmia's philanthropic endeavors are guided by his profound belief in service to humanity. In addition to his tireless efforts in animal welfare, he also dedicates himself to Sadhu Seva, a selfless act of serving spiritual seekers. Through this initiative, Lalit Dalmia supports:

Lalit Dalmia's Sadhu Seva encompasses a range of services, including Bhandara Bhojan (food service), self-cooked meals, Dakshina (donations), and clothing and footwear distribution. This compassion-driven effort benefits 500-1000 sadhus monthly and expands during Holi celebrations, providing a 7-day permanent food service with a special menu featuring traditional delights like Kheer, poori, halwa, sabzi, and desi ghee.

Lalit Dalmia's vision extends beyond immediate support, aiming to create a self-sustaining ecosystem for cow conservation and welfare in Vrindavan Dham. By fostering a harmonious coexistence between humans, animals, and the environment, he strives to make a lasting, positive impact.
